Chocolate Peanut Butter Squares (Super Easy)

Chocolate and peanut butter, all is right in the world!

How can you go wrong with this combination of yummy goodness! It is a must to share with others! Get a tall glass of milk or water, whichever you prefer to help wash those sweets down because you are going to need it! This is a no bake recipe and is ready in no time! Great for potlucks, having friends get together, etc. I made these for a barbecue with friends. One square should satisfy anyone's sweet tooth in a jiffy!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 4 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 2 cups peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Melt 1 cup butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in confectioners' sugar, peanut butter and graham cracker crumbs. Spread mixture in a jelly roll pan. Pat down evenly.
  2. To Make Topping: Melt together 1/2 cup butter with 1 cup chocolate chips. Spread this mixture over peanut butter mixture. Refrigerate 1/2 hour. Cut into squares.

I lined a jelly roll/cookie sheet with parchment paper first, makes it easier to remove the slices.
The chocolate topping now added, stick in refrigerator to chill and set and then a half hour later it can be taken out and kept at room temperature and sliced.
Sliced and ready to be taken out of the pan.
See how easy it is to remove them from the pan with the sheet of parchment paper under them?
A yummy little slice!
