I discovered this recipe at Allrecipes back in March 2011. I cannot recall how many times I have made it, but it has been multiple times since. I usually have all the ingredients in the house to make this recipe. It is so delicious! It smells so wonderful while baking! It is so easy to make! It tastes like PURE heaven! All you need is a glass of milk to wash it down. Have a slice while it is still warm too. I did not change a thing on this recipe; it is perfect the way it is written.

Combine the pecans, cinnamon and remaining sugar; sprinkle over batter.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 50-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool for 15 minutes. Carefully run a knife around edge of pan to loosen. Remove sides of pan. Cool completely before cutting.

The batter comes out thick, not smooth like cake batter. |
